CHESS BLACK Extra Strong ORANGE PEKOE Black Tea - 250g Single Origin

Orange Pekoe refers to a high grade of Black tea based on the size of the leaf and its location on the tea plant Camellia sinensis.

A low grown tea that is the strongest, darkest flavour in our catalog. 

This is a bold and distinctive black tea known for its deep, rich flavors. Grown in a lush, low-altitude tea estate in the southern region of Sri Lanka, these leaves develop a robust character, offering a strong, malty taste with hints of caramel and spice (No added spices or flavours, this is the flavour of the tea). The warm tropical climate and fertile soils contribute to the tea’s uniquely brisk, full-bodied nature, making it a favorite for those who enjoy a more intense brew. When steeped, it yields a dark, coppery infusion with an invigorating aroma—perfect for those who appreciate a strong, energizing cup.

Brew: Use 1-2 full teaspoons per 250ml cup of water at 100 degrees Celsius. Steep them for approximately 3-5 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.
